i remember clicking once and thankfully avast blocks the website but the pop still keeps coming back.

but the thing is it disappears..but comes back some long minutes later, constantly.

I don't know what it's doing and i'm afraid. it has been plaguing my MacBook since last night, does anyone know what do I do, delete cookies?

You clicked once – but Avast blocked the Web site. And you haven't clicked again, or done any of the things that the messages might have told you to do (like calling a "Tech Support" number)?

Your Mac is not infected. What you're seeing are scam notifications from a Web site that you visited. My guess is that you visited the site using Safari. If so, see this User Tip to block the notifications and others like them.

If you're using some other browser, the cause of the problem (scam Web site notifications) and the fix (blocking all Web site notifications) is the same, but the specific configuration steps for your browser will be different.
