HP H470 prints only black and white on MBP 2019 in 2024

Ack! I think I'm done for, but thought I'd write in here for a last stand for my HP Officejet H470 mobile printer, which works perfectly. It will only print b/w now that I've got it plugged in to a 2019 MBP running Ventura 13.0. It does print a perfect test page in color. I DID find this question here from someone in Aug 21, but I tried everything suggested there and simply no-go with everything tried. Looks like AppleAir chose not to support this (awesome) printer an the 4.0.8 driver is no longer available for that trick. If anyone out there has any last ideas (I'm not fabulous at all this), I'd love to know. Getting back on-the-road after the same hiatus that slowed us all down and HATE that my printer may now be defunct. Just had to upgrade laptop due to 2009 MBP defuncting over inability to do OS updates. Sigh. Thank you! :>)
