Hi.
with the introduction of this mew feature i can start video recording while my carplay music still playing, but when i view the recording there is no sound in the captured video!
i tried with bluetooth speaker and the video was fine with music in it.
my issue is only when i play music through apple music carplay.
anyone experiencing the same? And what is the solution?

I FOUND A TEMPORARY SOLUTION!!
what you have to do, if you want to record while connect to carplay and have sound in your videos. Instead of putting your camera app in the video option, you have to put it in the photo mode, and press and old the button and slide to the right. That will start the recording with sound!!! Try it for yourself
My problem with this solution is that it changes the setting for all videos to only capture mono sound which is definitely not what I want for 99% of my videos.
Were you able to recover it. The same thing happened when I was trying to record my grandchildren!😞

Same thing here. I recorded a video while I was connected to CarPlay and no audio. So frustrating. Is there anyway to get the audio from the recorded video to work?
Does anyone know how to get the audio back from a video that was filmed over Bluetooth? I didn’t even know that was such a thing until I tried rewatching the video. I can’t find anything on Google.
