Poor sound quality of iPhone 16 Pro Max

I Just upgrade the iPhone 14 Pro Max to I phone 16 pro max and feel disappointed on the poor sound quality compare with iPhone 14 Pro Max , even the what app audio message need to bring near to the ear only can hear clearly . I did contact the apple support team mention ,they say should not happen cause the competent on iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 16 pro max are same , I still have iPhone 14 Pro Max with me and I did compare and the sound of iPhone 16 pro max confirm lower and poor . so dissaponted on it .

iOS 18.4 has been released, yet the issue persists unchanged. I contacted Apple support, and they assigned a representative to follow up on my case. She instructed me to take my iPhone 16 Pro Max to an Aleph store, an authorized reseller in Saudi Arabia. There, a technician performed a diagnostic test for the second time and claimed there was no problem with the phone. I then demonstrated a comparison between the iPhone 16 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max, and 13 Pro Max, leaving the technician speechless and unable to respond. He suggested I leave the phone with them for a few days so they could investigate further. I swear to God, this will be the last time I ever purchase an Apple product. After a decade of loyalty, I’m switching to Android.

Were you able to get it resolved? I have also noticed that my phone volume automatically increases when I get a call on WhatsApp and the screen brightness decreases automatically when I get a video call on a WhatsApp. My every auto brightness feature is off and even nothing on in audio settings.

Quality is shocking for me too! On WhatsApp I voice note pretty much all day with work and friends and it’s so muffled like they’ve recorded it talking from another room! Extremely frustrating

I have the same issue as well. Reported to Apple. But they said it is not the device problem. Very frustrating.

My son has an iPhone 15 and the sound is fantastic. The 16 Pro Max is unfit for purpose. Glitchy and poor sound quality.

unfortunately the iphone 16 pro max have a very low sound in all voice messages….so how can we report this issue to apple????

Yes same problem with me in 16 pro max, before using 15 pro max and the sound is more clear and high in it.

I tried it now as u said but it is still low sound in WhatsApp , even i tired force restart my iPhone and removed WhatsApp then install it again but it does not fix it.

What’s the solve for this issue please?

I checked with updated apps yet issue remained. Touch issues are also there. At times I’ve to tap few times to get effects.
