I deleted TikTok once I heard that it would be banned because I thought it would be it then it was announced that TikTok had been UN-banned so I went to the App Store and I couldn’t find the app to put TikTok back in the App Store for the people who deleted it since it is now unbanned

Hello~ Why do you want to argue with me over this situation? I am a fellow forum member just like yourself. I can’t rectify the situation and only stating the facts. I hate to tell you but if you purchase an android you can’t download it either. Also ”phone companies “ have nothing to do with the ban. They must however follow the law. In the meantime why not put the effort of complaining about something as insignificant as TikTok into something else until this situation is resolved? Our world has plenty of issues that you could help out with…don’t you think? Take care.

I know that the app isn’t in the Apple Store, but I don’t think it’s fair that people who didn’t delete the app can still use it. Imo if TikTok is still technically banned, it should be idle for the people who didn’t delete it.

The fines that the law put on Google and Apple were only for downloads of the app in the App Store, neither company faced fines for a previously downloaded app from being used. Apple cannot remove any app from your device.

Why is Apple denying the use or download of Tictok

Apple is not denying the use of TikTok and any previous download will still work and you can access it on the web using Safari. You cannot download TikTok from either the App Store or the Google Play store as the law imposing fines on both companies has NOT been overturned. The Executive Order extended the time to sell TikTok, but that still must happen under the current law. There has not been a legal ruling saying the Apple or Google would no longer be fined for allowing downloads.
