How to identify and avoid scams impersonating Apple for lost iPhone tracking?

This number +44 7861 66**** chat me up impersonating apple asking me of my lost 11pro max

I nearly fall for the trick sent a link to me to use for my phone tracking

Apple does not get involved in any way with lost or stolen phones, so any message that you might see that might appear to be from "Apple" or "Apple Support" will be a scam.
