Exchanging engraved AirPods Max for different color in the Netherlands

I'm going to give my girlfriend in the Netherlands an imprinted AirPods Max, but if she doesn't like the color, can I exchange it? Also I'm going to order it from Apple site in the Netherlands (Amsterdam)
