Rusty screws in Iphone 13 Pro

Has anyone here encountered having rusty screws in iphone 13 Pro? Yesterday, I went to the Apple store in New Jersey, USA for repair as my iphone 13 Pro went on green screen. I was informed that the screws are rusty and Apple store cannot repair for me. When I request to the store manager then she told me to check the trade-in value and she came up with trade-in value of 63 dollars. Can anybody advice what should I do in this case?

I shared my iPhone 13 Pro's pictures with one of the phone repair shop at Bridgewater mall in New Jersey. Looking at the screws he said that though screws are rusted, I can fix this phone and repair cost would be 250 dollars for Pro. What is your opinion?

Secondly, I am just wondering that when apple couldn't not open rusty screw then what kind of tools he would be using to repair the phone. That means this technician is more intelligent than apple store technicians.

NO. It means he's willing to take your $250 dollars and he may or may NOT be able to fix your phone. But in doing whatever he does, it means your phone will be tampered with and Apple likely won't be willing to touch the phone if something goes wrong. It's your money and you can spend it however you please. There's a reason the screws on your iPhone are rusty and that is almost exclusively the fact your phone was subjected to liquid damage. I wouldn't personally spend $250 on a phone repair with any iFixit type business, that's for sure.

Again, your money, your choice. It would make much more sense to take the $250 and apply it to the purchase of a brand new, undamaged iPhone.
