Why can't I send photos by AOL instead of icloud? It confuses people who think I changed my primary e-mail.

The only way you can send photos through AOL is by using email associated with your AOL. You can attach your photos to that email. Are you talking about sending multiple photos to people which is inviting them to look at your album in iCloud?
