I would like to make an IMovie of my shared album but the only option I see for IMovie is with my albums, not shared ones. How do I make a shared album, a regular album? Or can I copy a shared album into a regular album?

You will need to important the photos from a shared album to your Photos Library. From there you can select them in iMovie.
