Why has my lockscreen passcode somehow not work after i input the new 4 digit passcode and confirm , has somehow magically became incorrect? Please do explain.

Most likely someone tried too many times to open it. follow this guide. You will lose all the data since your last backup.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled
