Dock

Why can't I move any applications to my dock? I have tried dragging and dropping from my finder. I have also tried opening the application, clicking on it in the dock and using the options feature.

Open your Applications folder, click and drag the apps icon into the left hand side of the Dock.

Or if you have the app opened and running Control-click on the apps icon in the Dock

go to Options and click on Keep in Dock.
