iPad and MacBook with Sidecar

Hi

I’m considering buying an iPad Pro. I work as a speech to text interpreter, so I need the iPad to mirror the MacBook screen. It needs to be wirelessly connected but still stable. Will Sidecar be able to do this? I’ve had systems before that connected via WiFi, and it was easily disturbed by concrete walls and other WiFi signals.

An iPad Pro can be used with a compatible Mac to extend the Mac display to the iPad using the Catalina/iPadOS Sidecar feature.

An alternative third-party product, Duet, can be used to extend a PC or Mac to an iPad:

You can use either WiFi or a USB “wired” connection. Whenever you use WIFi, being a radio interface, you will always be limited by WiFi’s fundamental limitations of potential inference from other WiFi networks and devices, signals from other electronic devices - and reduced range or signal reliability caused by obstructions and structural walls.
