Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch Photos. Is there more than one library listed?

I upgraded to a new mac and had to transfer my photos from iPhoto to the Photos app. I cannot find my iPhoto library in Photos even though it says it was migrated. I am missing thousands of photos.
