Purchased a fee-based version of an app, but not able to access it

I purchased a subscription to Clean My Mac via the App Store, but the application on my computer won't let me access the full version. It still says "unlock full version." This is very frustrating as apparently Apple keeps a separate database of users from the app developer.

The web version and the App Store version are different and are not interchangeable.
