How to Purchase office 365 subscription from mac appstore instead of from Microsoft website
I have an existing subscription of Microsoft office 365 for MacBook purchased on Microsoft account website.
But I wish to purchase it from Apple Mac AppStore instead of from Microsoft website.
Is it possible to purchase the office 365 subscription from Mac App Store instead of from Microsoft website.
You would need to cancel your current subscription and completely delete* the MS versions of the Office apps. They ARE NOT compatible;e with the Mac App Store.
Then you could get Office 360 through the Mac App Store and in-app purchases in each of the Mac App Store versions of the apps.
*You may need to use something such as AppCleaner to get all of the files for each app.

What The difference of getting a license room Microsoft to getting the app from the App Store how am I meant to know the real one as there’s so many of them and it does not see the price of them on a Mac book air 2020
Thank you very much but of course the App Store does not see the price of the subscription and would it be from MS if I bought it from the App Store would it be the real one like I said above there is so many of them how my meant to know the real from the fraudulent
I have downloaded from Apple App Store. Yet I am not seeing any payment option on the App Store. I only get the option of payment from inside the apps which lead to Microsoft website and not apple website.

I don't know what to tell you, the Word app description states that it has in-app purchases and lists them.
I have performed the steps suggested above, but I don't see the option for In-app purchases in the Word/ Excel apps downloaded from Mac App Store.
If you get the app from the App Store, you need to get the subscription from the App Store.
If you get the app from MS, you need to get the subscription from MS.
They are not interchangeable.
I'm sorry, the process that I described for Office does not appear to follow the normal path for other 3rd party apps in the Mac App Store.
