Troubleshooting Lost AirPods:

Use Find My:

Was Find My enabled for these through a device? The location shown in Find My is only the location of the device that these were synced with was itself connected to the Internet.

II. If Find My is Not Working, here are Some Thoughts:

A. Backtrack your Locations:

Do it the olde fashioned way and backtrack your locations. For instance, if you were at a retail store, then stop in, asking the store manger if it was placed aside.

B. Lost-&-Found:

Chick with the Lost & Found department of the facility you were in, seeing if it has been handed over.

C. Contact Local Authorities:

See if the community police, or local security guards at the front door, can across it.

D. Use Craigslist:

Put a post on Craigslist, seeing if they have been found.

We can't track down your phone, even if it is operating correctly. Only you can do this.

But, if the battery has run down or the phone does not have an Internet connection, it cannot display its current location on a map.

A previous location before the battery ran down or the phone lost its Internet connection might be displayed for a limited amount of time.
