Transferring photos from iPhone to PC

Hello Everyone!

I plug my iPhone in to my Windows 10 computer, I launch the Photos App on my PC, I click on transfer photos and the app finds my iPhone starts transferring, but at a certain point it stops doing it and says "unable to find you device" or something like that. What should I do? By the way I have the latest version of iTunes on my PC, latest version of iOS on my iPhone and I don't have iCloud Photos enabled. I didn't contact Microsoft Support cause I think that my iPhone has a problem not my PC(I could transfer photos from my friend's iPhone to the same PC with the same method.)

I know this sounds way too simple and you may have already tried it, but have you restarted your phone, and your PC and then tried again?

Maybe try another cable as well. I realize that your friend’s phone worked with your PC, but it wouldn’t hurt to try another cable and another USB port for that matter.
