If you have an iWatch In order for the AirPod to work properly you must turn off the Bluetooth on your iWatch. Once you do that reconnect you AirPod Pro and it will work with no issues. This only happens with the AirPod Pro.

I tested the with regular Apple AirPods and you can have both iWatch and AirPods connected at the same time.

Seems to be an issues the the phone trying to hand off Bluetooth audio to the AirPod Pro while your iWatch is constantly connected via Bluetooth.

Apple has to find a solution to be able to have both just like the old AirPods.

Hey guys, I reached out to Apple about this issue and it seems that Airpod Pros that do this have been modified or not authentic products. When I called them, they ran my serial number and found that someone had previously tried to turn them in to get fixed or trade new ones, but they denied it. I got it as a gift which my brother bought on EBay and it was completely sealed and “brand new”. Sadly there’s nothing Apple can do and we would have to take it up with seller. Hope nobody has to deal with this, but double check serial # by calling Apple.

I've been using nothing but Apple products since 2010. This is the first time I'm having this kind of aggravation. Don't give up!! One of the posts suggested performing the "ear tip test" then try to play your iTunes/music. That worked for me...once. I now turned off bluetooth for my Apple Watch (on the Watch - apps/settings/Bluetooth then slide it to OFF! This worked! Woooooooooowhooooooooooooooo! Thank you everyone! Still tho, all of my apple products should work together without all this trouble... APPLE!?!??!
