You may want to have a look at this Help page in the online manual:

Find and identify photos of people using Photos on Mac - Apple Support

At the top of the page is a switch that lets you select your system version. The way the People are managed in Photos has changed considerable between system versions.

I have lots of family/friends photos in my Photos. I know there's a way to organize/sort pictures into specific

People slots (left side of Photos view) listed under Photos....Memories...Favorites....People...Places....Recents...

Imports....Recently Deleted. I used to remember how to do it, but memory is failing me (I'm old!!!🤪😄) If

anyone can help, I'd be very appreciative. J
