The clock widget is displaying wrong time

Hi all, I'm using the new macOS Big Sur. But the clock widget shows the wrong time, which is three hours earlier than the true time. And there's a -3 on the clock widget. Is there any way to fix that?

The system time displayed on the top right corner is correct. The following screenshot shows this.

i can see your clock says CUP and -3. that means your clock widget is set to pacific time zone. (cupertino CA). and by your menubar and username you are in the eastern time zone. (rochester NY maybe?) all you need to do is "control+click" on the clock widget and choose "Edit Clock".

the clock will "turn over". click on cupertino

you will then see an entry field. start typing a nearby city's name, and you will be given some options. click on a close by city from the list you are given.

you will then see your city's name is orange in colour. click "done" and you're done.

sorry, neither buffalo nor rochester are in the suggestion list, :)
