macOS mail app fails to receive new emails.

macOS 12.1 Monterey, Mail 15.0, MacBook Pro M1Max

I'm using macOS mail app and several times a day it fails to receive new emails. I've confirmed the account (yahoo) is setup correctly, and the same account's emails show up my iPhone with no issue. only way to get the new mail on Mac is to restart app.

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Did you try rebooting the machine...?



If no resolve delete the account and add it back in.
