Imovie clips

I have split a mp4 into multiple clips. How can I create a movie out of each of these clips ? Is it possible to save each of the clips as a separate mp4 file ?

iMovie won't export separate individual clips out of a project. You would need to export the entire project. However, the way to accomplish what you want is to select the clip in the timeline, do an Edit/Copy, and then Edit/Paste it into the timeline of a newly created project. Any edits that you made will carry over. You can then continue to edit it in the new project and export it out as an MP4. You can repeat the process with the rest of the clips, individually. You can have as many projects as you want. They take up very little space because the clips that you see in a project are very tiny sized editing clips that refer to the original clips contained in the iMovie library. So once you import a clip into iMovie you can use it in many different projects and all the projects will refer to the same one clip that is in the library. There will be no duplication of clips.
