Search for a file in finder window does not work, even though I can see it in the window!


iMac 24″, macOS 13.2

Rebuild the Spotlight index...


Verify your >System Settings>Spotlight>Settings and all options are included that are appropriated for you



Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac - Apple Support


best I found over all others, including Terminal is the Macintosh HD drag & drop method: add and remove.
