If your incoming email messages are automatically placed in Bin / Trash / Junk / Archicve, the primary cause could be misconfigured rule / filter, or a setting on your Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. To resolve this issue, please make sure you haven't created any rule / filters with the action to Delete / Move it that would affect the email messages being moved automatically to another folder..

If you find that your incoming email messages are consistently being automatically placed in the Bin, Trash, Junk, or Archive folders, there are a few potential causes for this behavior. One primary cause could be a misconfigured rule or filter within your email settings, or a specific setting on your Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

To address and resolve this issue, it is important to ensure that you haven't inadvertently created any rules or filters that have the action to delete or move incoming messages to another folder. These rules or filters can be set up to automatically sort and organize your emails based on specific criteria such as sender, subject, keywords, or other attributes. However, if these rules or filters are misconfigured or not aligned with your intended actions, they can lead to emails being erroneously moved to unintended locations.

To rectify the situation, it is recommended to review and adjust your email rules or filters. Access the settings or options menu in your email client or webmail interface and navigate to the section related to rules or filters. Check for any rules or filters that have been created and examine their conditions and actions. Look specifically for rules or filters that involve the action of deleting or moving messages to folders other than your inbox.

If you come across any rules or filters that seem problematic or unnecessary, you can either modify them to align with your preferences or delete them altogether. Ensure that the rules or filters accurately reflect your intended actions for organizing your emails, and avoid any settings that would lead to the automatic deletion or relocation of incoming messages to unintended folders.

By carefully reviewing and adjusting your email rules or filters, you can resolve the issue of emails being automatically placed in the Bin, Trash, Junk, or Archive folders. This process allows you to regain control over the organization and management of your incoming messages, ensuring that they are directed to the appropriate folders based on your preferences and requirements.
