Can't login to Apple TV after changing email address
I have had to change the email address as the old one from my ISP is to be discontinued.
I successfully changed the email used for my Apple ID, but now I cannot log in to Apple TV on my PS4 because it still sees my old email address.
When I open the Apple TV app I get the QR code to login. I scan it with my phone and it goes to the webpage in my browser.
It asks me to login, which I use my <NEW-email-address> and password. It logs in successfully, keeping in mind that if I used the wrong details here it wouldn't login. Then I get the message on my phone saying "You've signed in to Apple TV. Your TV will refresh"
The TV refreshes and I get the error message "Your Apple ID or password is incorrect." If it was, I wouldn't have been able to login on my phone.
When I click OK it asks me "Enter the password for <OLD-email-address>" It was the same password for both email addresses. I try entering the password again and it says it was wrong.
I had this same problem with the Apple TV app on my Samsung TV which was fixed after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I tried this with the PS4 and it didn't work.
Any Ideas how to fix this?
