That is the current workaround until Meta provides an update to fix the problem with Facebook. They have a poor track record when it comes to bug fixes especially those found on the iPad.

There is no Facebook Support department to contact. This does not seem to be a Facebook problem. All of my other Facebook apps open except the one on my iPad Air, which is the only one with iOS 18.

Great. Now my messenger has the same issue. Can’t log in as it says there is a technical error. Was fine before only Facebook was doing this.

Thank you for this post! I switched to an unused iPad Pro 11” Gen 2 yesterday from my own 11” Pro that had a cracked screen and could not get logged into the FB app. This did the trick!
